Share

When your block is ready to leave the screen, the Actions tab in the right panel is where you generate and share your outputs.

Export options

Open the Actions tab in the right panel. The following exports are available, each generated as a PDF:

• Materials Estimate — A fabric-by-fabric breakdown with yardage amounts for the block at its current finished size. Take it to the fabric store or use it to check your stash.
• Cutting Diagram — A layout showing how your pieces pack onto bolt-width fabric. Helps you plan your cuts before you pick up the rotary cutter.
• Piecing Templates — Printable templates for each piece, with seam allowance and sewing lines. See Templates for details on how these are generated.
• Coloring Page — An outline version of your block with no fills. Print it for hand coloring or share it with a quilting group to plan colorways on paper.

Printing

Each PDF can be printed directly from the share sheet. Print at 100% scale for accurate templates. The PDF includes a measurement check box so you can verify accuracy before cutting fabric.

Sharing

All exports use the standard iPad share sheet. Save to Files, AirDrop to another device, attach to an email, or send to any app that accepts PDFs.
