Canvas Settings

Canvas settings control how the editing canvas behaves in the Block Editor and Quilt Editor. These are per-editor adjustments, separate from the app-wide preferences.

Grid snapping

Grid snapping helps you align shapes and blocks precisely. When enabled, dragging and resizing operations snap to grid divisions. This makes it straightforward to line up patches without needing pixel-level precision.

You can adjust the grid division size or disable snapping entirely for free-form placement.

Display options

• Show grid — Toggle the background grid overlay on or off
• Show seam lines — Display seam allowance lines on patches for a preview of the final cut pieces
