Templates & Export
BloqLoft is a design tool, but the goal is always real fabric. Everything you design can be exported as production-ready output: templates for cutting, estimates for shopping, and images for sharing.
What you can export
BloqLoft produces several types of output, depending on whether you're exporting from the Block Editor or the Quilt Editor:
From the Block Editor
- Materials Estimate — A fabric shopping list showing how much of each fabric you need for one block
- Cutting Diagram — How pieces pack onto fabric bolt width for efficient cutting
- Piecing Templates — Actual-size templates with seam allowance for rotary cutting, FPP, or EPP
- Coloring Page — Line-art outline of the block for hand-coloring or group activities
From the Quilt Editor
- Quilt Image — High-resolution PNG of the full quilt layout with colors and fabrics
- Yardage Report — Complete fabric requirements calculated from exact geometry
- Coloring Page — Full quilt outline, tiled across multiple pages with crop marks for large layouts
All PDF exports use the share sheet, so you can save to Files, print directly, AirDrop to another device, or send by email.
