When your quilt layout is ready, the Quilt Editor gives you several ways to get it off the screen and into your hands.

Export options

The following exports are available from the Quilt Editor:

  • Image (PNG) — A high-resolution render of your complete quilt layout with all fabrics and colors. Use it for sharing your design online, in guild emails, or in print.
  • Coloring Page (PDF) — A clean outline of your quilt with all the geometry and no fills. Every piece boundary is drawn so you can color each piece individually. Print it for hand coloring or share it with a group so everyone can plan their own colorway on paper.
  • Yardage Report (PDF) — A printable summary of your fabric requirements. Take it to the fabric store and know exactly what to buy. See Yardage for details on how amounts are calculated.

Coloring pages

Coloring pages are a quilter favorite. BloqLoft generates accurate outlines of your full quilt layout: blocks, sashing, borders, and all. These are formatted to print on standard paper and scale to fit. For large quilts, BloqLoft tiles across multiple pages with crop marks for assembly.

Printing and sharing

All exports use the standard iPad share sheet. Save to Files, AirDrop to another device, attach to an email, or send to any app that accepts the file type. PDFs can be printed directly from the share sheet.
