Managing
As your fabric library grows, you'll need to rename swatches, adjust repeat dimensions, and remove fabrics you no longer use. Here's how to keep your digital stash organized.
Renaming
Long-press a fabric card and choose Rename. Good names include the manufacturer, line name, and colorway: "Kona Cotton, Bone" or "Moda Grunge, Vanilla." Clear naming makes it much easier to find the right fabric when you're deep in a design.
Repeat dimensions
A fabric's repeat dimensions control how its pattern tiles on your patches. When the repeat is set correctly, the on-screen rendering matches the actual fabric scale.
Most quilting cotton has a print repeat between 4 and 12 inches. Check the selvedge edge of your fabric; manufacturers often print the repeat size there. To edit repeat dimensions, open the fabric's detail view.
Deleting fabrics
Long-press and choose Delete to remove a fabric from your library. This removes the swatch data permanently.
Note: Deleting a fabric doesn't change blocks or quilts that already use it. Those designs retain the fabric data they need. But you won't be able to assign the deleted fabric to new patches.
