Collections

Collections group your fabrics the way manufacturers release them: by line. Keep your Moda Grunge separate from your Kona Solids, and filter down to exactly what you need when you're working.

Creating a collection

Collections are created automatically when you import fabrics and assign them to a group. You can also create an empty collection from Fabric Studio and add fabrics to it later.

Filtering by collection

To narrow down your fabric library, use the filter chips at the top of Fabric Studio. Tap a collection name to show only its fabrics. Tap All to see everything. This becomes essential once your library grows beyond a few dozen swatches.

Moving fabrics between collections

To reorganize, long-press a fabric card and choose Move to Collection. You can move a single fabric or select multiple fabrics and move them as a batch.

Renaming and deleting collections

Collections can be renamed or deleted from Fabric Studio. Deleting a collection does not delete the fabrics inside it. They move to an uncategorized group.
