Managing Projects
Projects are lightweight containers, easy to create and easy to manage. Here's how to keep them organized as your design library grows.
Renaming a project
Long-press a project card and choose Rename. Pick a name that tells you what the project is at a glance: "Baby Quilt for Sarah," "Guild Challenge 2026," or "Log Cabin Sampler."
Gallery filtering
When you're inside a project, the other Studios automatically filter to show only that project's contents. This is gallery filtering in action. You don't need to search or scroll through your full library to find the blocks or fabrics you're working with.
If you need something from outside the project (a block from your main library, for example), you can add it to the project from any Studio view.
Adding and removing content
To add a block, quilt, or fabric to a project, long-press its card in the relevant Studio and choose the project to add it to. To remove an item from a project, long-press it within the project context and choose Remove from Project.
Removing an item from a project doesn't delete it. The block, quilt, or fabric stays in your library. It just stops appearing when you filter by that project.
Importing into a project
When you import fabrics while working inside a project, the imported fabrics are automatically associated with that project. This keeps your imports organized without extra steps.
Deleting a project
Long-press a project card and choose Delete. Deleting a project removes the project container and its associations. Your blocks, quilts, and fabrics remain in their Studios untouched.
Safe to delete: Deleting a project never deletes the designs or fabrics inside it. They stay in your library exactly where they were.
